Anytime Pizza Place Review

  • I am not sure what category you’d put this under, but Anytime Pizza has coffee involved.

I heard about this place through my co-worker who lives in St. Pete. We decided to order some pizza the other night and one of the pizzas I wanted to try was their Kona Pizza which has:

Grilled fresh sliced pineapple dusted with Kahwa Coffee and pure cane sugar, homemade roasted sweet red onion and crisped Prosciutto di Parma on a cheese pizza.

I am all for odd foods and this hit my list of things I had to try. I recently had coffee encrusted steak which turned out to be one of my new favorite foods so when I saw pizza with coffee on it I had to try it.

First, I like this place because it’s open 24-7, but it’s not in my area which has me a little bummed out. It’s also a little bit overpriced, but without bashing the place because of price and location, this place so far has some great pizza.

The pizza needed a little more coffee added on, but it turned out to be a really interesting and great tasting pizza. Who knew that coffee on a pizza along with sugar and some other “normal” pizza toppings this would turn out to be good.

If I had to put a rating on the pizza I would give it a 3.75 out of 5 which I think is a very decent rating.

Cast iron cookware is hands down the best. I used non-stick stuff for years, but a nice, big steak done in a cast iron skillet is on a completely different level. Besides, you can buy a top notch pan for something like 80 bucks and it will last you a lifetime. The non-stick stuff may last 4 years or so if you get lucky. If you search the web a bit, you can often get a quality pan on sale. There are always some great offers on cast iron kitchen stuff posted on the cast iron pots website. Ok, that did it, now I’m starving. I’m off to the kitchen to fry up some steak and eggs.

Ordered regularly for over a year…They obviously changed ownership in the spirng of 2011 and it now totally sucks now!  Don’t waste your money! I could go into detail but let’s just say say after three straight inaccurate orders, I am done as a former big proponent of this delivery service!  Mark

I am bummed to hear that. Sounds like they may not be around longer if they keep messing things up. I was hoping to check them out more when I’m in the area, but now I won’t be. Thanks for letting me know.
