Are You Taking Your Cup Of Coffee For Granted?

  • This is kind of follow up if you will of “are you taking the time to enjoy your daily brew” post.

The other morning I was sitting at the computer with my cup of Storyville Coffee and browsing my daily coffee sites. I was reading into a little background of this coffee company and suddenly I realized that I’ve been taking my coffee for granted.

As a coffee reviewer, I’ve had the luxury to try some amazing coffees, but it’s always on to the next one. I am so focused on the notes in the coffee, and what I think of it to actually enjoy the coffee for what it is.

Some of the greatest things about coffee are not just the taste of the drink itself, but the history, the farmers who grew the beans, the time, and the patience.

There are so many variables that go into making that cup of coffee that’s sitting right in front of you. Take the time to enjoy your coffee, and don’t for a second take your coffee for granted.

If you do, you miss out on some great coffee, and the things that go into making your coffee great.

Storyville is fighting the good fight against human slavery/trafficing. Monica and I were honored to co-host one of there concert events several months ago. Good music, Good coffee.

Yes… I read about that and saw a YouTube video on their music thing that they do. I wish I lived near there so I could visit. One day.

They are doing some great stuff though. Really loved their coffee too.
