Bali Blue Moon From Buddy Brew Coffee Review

After reading Mike’s review over at DailyShotOfCoffee on Buddy Brew Coffee in Tampa I knew I had to order some coffee. I’ve been looking for more local coffee places, but I’ve been getting the short end of the stick. Some of the places I have tried have not been that good.Aside from some great offerings, they also let you select the roast you want. You can select between City/City +, Full City/Full City +, Vienna, or French and beyond.
I stuck with the Full City/Full City + because I thought flavor wise it would bring out some great aroma, and notes.
Buddy Brew is also on my list of coffee places to check out next time I am in the Tampa area.
As far as their coffee goes, I couldn’t wait to try it, so I ordered some Bali Blue Moon which is an Organic coffee.
“The cup starts off with low acidity and smooth, syrupy body. An accompaniment of dark chocolate, vanilla bean, and black licorice flavors leads to a bold presence with an unforgettable aftertaste.”
Starting with the vanilla bean and chocolate notes lingering under your nose to the licorice aroma, this is already one coffee I do not want to run out of.
Each sip brings something great to the table.
A bold presence followed by a chocolate and vanilla bean goodness. The licorice spice comes up right behind you, somewhat unexpected.
The coffee has a heavy body to it, but overall carries a smooth presence.
I’d give this a 4 out of 5 cups.
You can grab yourself a pound of this for $12 plus shipping.
