Boca Sunrise From Boca Java Review

  • My last two experiences with Boca Java’s flavored coffees weren’t very good. I am hoping this will be better.

I am reviewing Boca Java’s Boca Sunrise which is a

bright and subtly sweet medium roast from Africa and Central and South America.

This blend contains a trio of Kenya AA, Colombian and Panamanian beans. I’m very intrigued by the bean selection that they chose.

The aroma from the coffee was bright like they had said. There’s a pleasant sweetness coming at me. The aroma reminds me of Ethiopian coffee. Overall, very pleasing aroma.

At first taste there’s a noticeable brightness and then it jumps to this very nice fruitiness. There’s a bit of an aftertaste that has a bold characteristic that’s not bad. It definitely has a smooth and satisfying finish.

I think I’ve underestimated Boca Java. They are now back on my favorites list.

    I’d give this a 3.5 out of 5 cups.

You can grab yourself a 8oz bag of this for $7.49.

Glad to see you are giving them another chance. We have been getting Boca Java at our house for a long time. I think the thing with them is to work your way through the blends and find the ones you like. Everyone seems to LOVE the Maple Bacon Morning and I despise it, lol. As far as favorite flavors go my husband likes the Chocolate Hazelnut Heaven and I like the Bananas Foster Float. Hands down though the Cool Breeze Colombian (not flavored) is the best thing we have had from Boca Java. Oh and right now they have their fall flavors out Tropical Tricks and Treats and Pumpkin Paradise – make sure to check those out. My brother in law is not a big flavor drinker and he loves the Tropical Tricks and Treats!

Thanks. Have you seen their new Atomic line? It has more caffeine. I will be posting reviews on those soon. I definitely agree with you that I need to work my way through their coffees. I have had some of their other regular coffees, but they were all ground, and this was before the site started so I need to really give them a chance.

I will try all the ones you have just recommended.

      Thanks again.
