Buying A New French Press

  • Going from a plastic french press to a stainless steel was the best decision I made. There’s such a difference.

For work I am still using a plastic French Press. I am thinking of buying this French Press from Planetary Design who seem to have some great products.

What do you think? Has anyone had any experience with Planetary Design?

Plastic Presses are nice because they’re harder to break, but I don’t think the taste compares to one made out of glass or stainless steal.

I love my stainless press. I wouldn’t trade it. :-)

I went from a glass French press to stainless steel and I was very happy I did it. I think the glass ones are pretty, but really the coffee gets cold too fast for me. Stainless steel is much better at keeping your coffee nice and warm.

I avoid the glass ones only because I have a habit of dropping/breaking things. I bought a stainless one from Frieling and I love it.
