Caphe Agenda From BaristaOnDutY Review

When someone tells you they have a coffee that’s not your average coffee, your ears perk up and you tend to listen closely. BaristaOnDutY is a guy I do not have trouble saying knows how to roast some amazing coffee. His passion runs deep in his coffee.I was sent some Caphe Agenda to try. This is a coffee that comes from Vietnam. I’ve never had any coffee from Vietnam so this was going to be an experience.
When I opened the bag, a rush of blueberries hit my nose. Holy cow! Did someone throw blueberry flavoring all over these beans?
No?
Okay.
The smell of the beans was just plain awesome. I noticed the blueberry note in the aroma along with an underlying chocolate note. This coffee is really reminding me of El Salvador Finca Alaska that I reviewed from Social Coffee & Tea with the blueberry and chocolate notes.
The taste was d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s. A chocolate note turned into a blueberry note, and then hints of a nuttiness appeared and lingered on my tongue. The coffee carried an overall smooth body.
The coffee has a very pleasing sweetness to it that mixes with the blueberry note causing you to do a double take. It’s definitely not a flavored coffee, but it sure tastes like one. A darn good one at that.
Overall, the coffee was very good. It was a little on the lighter side for my taste buds, but still an exceptional coffee nonetheless.
I am giving this a 3.75 out of 5 cups.
