Caveman Kicker From Rogue Coffee Roasters Review




  • Okay, I’ll admit the name “Caveman Kicker” had me wanting to try this very badly, but the reviews on ROASTe.com sold me even more.

    Caveman Kicker is a Medium-Dark roast coffee that is said to be:

    An exceptionally strong coffee injected with an extra jolt of caffeine, the Caveman Kicker is a robust blend with a tremendous bite.

    The last time I had coffee that had an extra jolt of caffeine was Meth Coffee which I reviewed a few months ago. It was one interesting coffee that provided a nice jolt of energy.

    I was more than excited to get the bag of Caveman Kicker opened and get brewing.

    From the aroma, the coffee carried a nice smooth, but bold aroma. There was a noticeable chocolate note underneath. There was also a spice like note coming through.

    The taste was just plain delicious. The coffee has a very smooth body, and underneath the smooth body is a chocolate note and more hints of spice.

    At first, the coffee is smooth and intense, and then hints of fruit start to appear out of nowhere. Just when I thought I had the coffee figured out, it surprised me with it’s goodness.

    The aftertaste is also very smooth, very clean with a hint of smokiness. I mean just a hint.

    Overall, the coffee tastes great. Blew past my expectations, and let’s not forget that this coffee really snaps you out of your sleepy zombie state.

    I’d give this a 4.5 out of 5 cups.

    This is one coffee I really recommend you all try. This coffee will run you $14 a lb. plus shipping.

    Sorry to do all the comments at once. Trying to catch up on my reader tonight. Anyways, this sounds like a coffee that I’ll have to try sooner or later. The extra caffeine reminds me of the Meth Coffee like you said, but also of the new one that Boca Java has. I haven’t tried it, but I’ll add that to my list of coffees to try also.
