Coffee Punch Recipe

  • Instead of iced coffee, how about some Coffee Punch? No, it has nothing to do with fruit punch, keep reading. Also, stop cringing your face, I know what you are thinking…Actually I don’t, but this is one delicious sounding recipe that I will be trying out tomorrow and you should too.

    Here’s What You Need:
    - 1/4 cup sugar
    - 6 cups hot, freshly brewed coffee (The good coffee. Not the stuff from the Ice Ages)
    - 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
    - 1/2 gallon chocolate ice cream
    - 1/2 cup coffee liqueur (optional)
    - Chocolate shavings, chocolate syrup, or whipped cream (you know to make it pretty looking… this is optional.)

    Instructions:
    1. Pour sugar into hot coffee, stirring until dissolved.
    2. Cover mixture and chill for 45 minutes.
    3. Place ice cream in a large punch bowl and pour coffee mixture over the top.
    4. Add coffee liqueur, if using, and stir well.
    5. Add toppings if desired.

If anyone decides to try this, leave a comment on your thoughts.
