I’ve been wanting to try this cold brew from the moment I heard Drew Moody over at A Table in The Corner of The Cafe had some in his possession. After reading his review, I really knew that I had to have it no matter what it took. Thankfully it was quite easy scoring some.
On the nose it’s milk chocolate heaven. So milky and sweet reminding me of ice cold chocolate milk.
The first sip is literally an explosion on your tongue. At first, its a shock. There is so much going on your tongue doesn’t know what to do, but then everything comes together.
First is a citrus acidity explosion and then this big chocolate sweetness billows over your tongue taking over your tastebuds shaking them with such a rich sweetness. With each passing sip, I start to taste more and morel like hazelnut, almond hints, and then more fruit like oranges, and strawberries.

Chug, chug, chug … This is an complex cold brew. There are so many layers to this cold brew that its honestly hard to tell what you’re tasting at any given moment, but if there is one constant in this cold brew, it is that its name “Chocolate City Coffee Bomber” is true to its name. Its a freakin’ chocolate bomb.
I honestly wasn’t liking the first sip. The citrus acidity is on the more medium side, but the chocolate notes takes over so fast that its like eating something tart, and then going straight to something sweet. This bottle did not stick around long. I tried so hard to savor it and really get a nice review out of it, but I couldn’t help just gulping it down. It was too good!
Hopefully this will be online and available for ordering because this is one cold brew you’ll want to get your hands on.
