Colombia Diamante Micro Lot From Paradise Roasters Review

I ordered this coffee from Roaste.com which is one of my favorite sites. I received the coffee two days after it was roasted. This is what I call an awesome company. Its been awhile since I’ve gotten coffee that fresh and that quick.I got Colombia Diamante Micro Lot which is from Paradise Roasters. I have ordered this coffee numerous times and it’s one of my favorites. The flavor is something I’ve been spending the last couple days on trying to figure out, which is why I’ve held off on the review.
As for the site, it says:
An elegant and classic coffee. Starting with a yam-like earthy tone with a hint of sweetness, both high and low chocolate flavors emanate before a delicate finish that suggests avocado.
I do taste a sweetness to the coffee. Maybe it’s that chocolate flavor they talk about, but I can’t really pin point it. I do get the earth tone with a fruity tone as well. I can’t pick out the fruit tones in it though. When the coffee cools the flavor really does change. When its hot you get a bold taste with earthy and sweet tones to it and as it cools its sweet, but more fruity.
I would love to hear back from anyone who has tried this coffee, or wants to and then post back and tell me what they think. I’ve been trying to figure what I might be tasting every time I order it, but I just can’t grasp it.
Anyways I would give this coffee 4 out of 5 cups.
