Guatemala Casi Cielo From Starbucks Review

  • In the past I haven’t found many good coffees from Starbucks that I’ve liked, but thanks to Melody over at Starbucks Melody I’ve decided to give Starbucks another chance by trying their Guatemala Casi Cielo.

I was a bit hesitant about it since I didn’t want to be letdown again, but after drinking a few cups and messing with the bean amount, I’m beginning to quite like this coffee. With a slightly bolder flavor, but yet still very smooth with a hint of sweetness, the coffee has an interesting flavor. I get a smooth flavor and then a quick kick of a flavor that I would almost guess is a spice.

I would give this coffee a 3.5 out of 5 cups as this really is a great tasting coffee. At first sip, it seems like a slightly bolder, but smooth coffee for a medium roast, but then you start getting other flavors such as spice and a bit of sweetness coming through as well.

At $12.95 for a pound this coffee is a great treat. It’s an annual seasonal offering so grab some and try it before it’s too late.

Starbucks coffees are hit and miss with me, but I think this is one that I would like to try at some point.
