Kenya AA From Java Dawg Coffee Review

I’ve been on a Java Dawg kick these past couple days. Now that the Java Dawg bus is in my area, I now have an excuse to go there. Before, it was too far for me to travel for just some coffee. I now know that the travel would have been well worth it.My first purchase from Java Dawg was a bag of Kenya AA.
“Well-balanced with a dry, wine-like acidity, full-bodied richness and a clean finish.”
Upon opening the bag, I was greeted with an interesting smell. It kind of reminded me of a cocoa note. I was expecting more of a bright aroma, but I was still hopeful of this coffee.
The coffee has a more mellow aroma to it with some brightness coming through.
The taste was quite enjoyable. There’s a brightness coming through, with a richness behind that. This coffee is overall very clean tasting and has you wanting more.
It’s not as bright as some other Kenya coffees I’ve had, but I think that’s why I like this more. It has a balanced brightness, and wine-like acidity, but it also has a rich sweetness to it, and clean finish.
I’d give this a 3.5 out of 5 cups.
You can grab yourself a 12oz bag of this for a very reasonable $8.00 plus shipping.
