Kickapoo Organic Colombia Coffee Review

  • Not only do I love the cans, and the fact that the coffee seems so much fresher than in coffee bags, Kickapoo Coffee has some great coffee as well.

This is the second coffee from Kickapoo that I am trying called Organic Colombia. The first coffee I tried was the Organic Guatemala which was an awesome coffee so I was very excited to try this one.

Exceptionally aromatic and sweet with a vibrant strength, Kickapoo Coffee’s Columbian Fondo Paez is has a dark fruit and chocolate center. With floral notes and hints of tart cherry, this coffee is a pleasure to behold.

Right from opening the can and peeling of the seal I was hit with a rush of aroma. There’s a definite nutty aroma coming at me with a pungent aroma that I noticed in my cup as well. It’s nothing unpleasant at all its just like a hit of tartness like cherry.

At first sip I get an immediate rush of flavor. It has a nuttiness to it like in the aroma and a flowery characteristic. I noticed a bit of bitterness on the back of my tongue, but it’s overall a sweeter coffee with a hint of chocolate.

Overall It was not a bad coffee by no means, but it just did not hold up to the Organic Guatemala that I had before.

    I’d give this a 3.25 out of 5 cups.

You can grab yourself a 12oz can of this for $12.75 plus shipping from ROASTe.
