Lo Mejor De Monserrate From Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee Review

I came across Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee from a user on Twitter. I love trying out new coffee companies, so I jumped onto the internet and checked her site out. She offers seven coffees sure to compliment your taste buds. She also offers local pickup for people who live in the Wood River Valley area in Idaho. There are coffee tastings every Wednesday and coffee classes as well so be sure to check her website out for more information regarding that.My taste buds screamed that I order the “Lo Mejor De Monserrate.” It’s a medium roast from Moserrate Columbia that’s said to have notes of
Berry, Chocolate, and sweet and juiciness.
I love smelling the beans before and after its ground. That right there helps me tell if the coffee is going to be good or not. If it doesn’t smell good then chances are its not going to taste good.
I noticed the beans have a slight dark aroma which caught me off guard since its a medium roast. The beans had a chocolaty smooth aroma. Overall, the smell was amazing, and I couldn’t wait to brew some of this.
The aroma of the coffee was sweet and smooth smelling. There was a slight fruitiness in the aroma as well.
The taste was even better with a smooth, and chocolaty flavor and a hint of darkness. It was slightly fruity of berries. It’s a smooth and sweet coffee with no bitterness.
This coffee may have won a bronze medal in the cupping competition, but it has won my heart for a great coffee. It seems Lizzy and her company felt the same way because she bought the grower’s harvest and is sharing a great experience with everyone.
It’s a limited roast so grab yourself some why you can. At $11.95 for a 12oz bag it’s a deal you shouldn’t pass up on.
I’d give this a 3.5 out of 5 cups.
