Papua New Guinea Eastern Highlands From Java Dawg Coffee Review




  • This is one special coffee I am reviewing. No, it’s not because of the coffee itself necessarily, but over at Java Dawg they have a new coffee they want to start selling. Papua New Guinea Eastern Highlands is a hit for them, but it doesn’t hurt to get an opinion outside the roastery.

    So, I was called in to sniff out the new merchandise. (Okay bad joke there.)

    I was very excited to have the opportunity to try this coffee. Let’s see what this coffee has to offer here.

    Overall, there’s a soft brightness coming at me with a sweetness, and a floral-fruity like note in the background.

    This taste is just as pleasing as the aroma. The first thing you notice is this pleasing acidity. The coffee then becomes sweet and there’s a nutty aftertaste that starts to emerge. The coffee is very clean with hardly any aftertaste.

    This is one of those coffees that is delicious any time of the day.

    This coffee gets a very good score of 3.75 out of 5 cups.
