    My Goodness People!
    What kind of coffee are you using?!
    Only a French Press should take a 1 to 1 ratio because you MUST use a coarser grind for the screens they use.

    I use a level scoop for every 2 cups … but I use a fine grind.
    A finer grind makes your coffee taste stronger and last longer.

    If you grind it yourself at the grocery store (and you can change the grind setting) you’ll want to set it 1 or 2 settings finer than auto-drip. The water will take longer to seep through the finer grind and make a richer, stronger cup of coffee.

    I generally go with what the package says to use. For Starbucks coffee, I think it’s 2 tablespoons per 6-ounce cup. These proportions work well for me.
