Rattlesnake Gutter Brew From Dean’s Beans Review

  • In my hunt for my next coffee order I came across Dean’s Beans while browsing ROASTe.com. I couldn’t resist not trying some of their coffees. They have some of the most ridiculous names in the best way possible.

A little history on the company. Dean’s Beans is an Organic Coffee Company and

I landed on Rattlesnake Gutter Brew and I was very excited to see what this coffee would bring to the table.

A hearty, yet compassionate cup, combing Peruvian (sweetness), Guatemalan (smoky) with dark roasted Bolivian (for a little bite!)

The aroma starts out with a sweetness and a hint of nuttiness. It’s on the mellower side, but I have a feeling I am in for something good.

With each sip, you are hit with a sweet, but powerful fruity acidity, and then a slight smokiness kicks in. Next comes the nuttiness. This coffee definitely hits you with a bite and then mellows out for a clean tasting coffee.

I really like the beans that they chose for this blend. It seems like you get a little bit of what each bean has to offer. The sweetness in the Peruvian, the smokiness in the Guatemalan, to the bite in the dark roasted Bolivian.

The aroma is like a suspense to me. You don’t realize what you are in for until you take that first sip. The aroma is mellow, and then each sip is a combination of flavors that pop out of nowhere to say hi.

Overall, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this coffee, but good or bad I was excited to find out. Dean’s Beans found a great mix of beans that complimented each other creating one great coffee.

I’d give this coffee a 4 out of 5 cups.

You can grab a 1lb. of this for $9.99 plus shipping.
