Review: Brazil Bob-O-Link From Klatch Coffee

  • Brazil Bob-O-Link from Klatch Coffee is a very exciting coffee for me to review. Its simple, clean, sweet, yet this coffee holds something great that makes your jaw drop with each and every sip.

I’m not sure why this coffee caught my attention. All I knew was that I needed to try this out, and so I did.

Brazil Bob-O-Link is said to be

a clean and stable cup that has rich chocolate and hints of nuts. Fragrance is clean floral fruity with milk cocoa on the nose. In the cup are flavors of strawberries and roses with a velvety smooth milk chocolate, vanilla, caramel body. The acidity is milder in the malic family with pear type notes. The stability and sweetness of this coffee makes for a rich taste that lingers smoothly in the aftertaste.

When you open the bag you are greeted with luscious notes of flowers, strawberries, chocolate, and fruity hints. The aroma just grabs you and pulls you in. It is one of those aromas you just don’t want to leave from.

When I got to brewing with this coffee I could smell a deep cocoa seeping into the air and up under my nose. I wasn’t expecting such a deep cocoa note.

The cocoa note dominates a lot of the coffee, but as the coffee cools something wonderful happens. This coffees true colors shine.

Each sip starts out with a deep cocoa and then moves to a sweet vanilla note. Before you know it, a wave of flowers, and strawberries grabs your tongue awakening it for what comes next.

The floral notes become stronger, and each sip lingers with a pleasing fruitiness. As the coffee cools a note starts to shine that causes you to scratch your head in confusion.

A perfume like note coats your tongue. At first, you think it was just a fluke, maybe your tongue is playing tricks on you, but after taking another sip it all becomes clear. A definite perfume note can be detected, and it’s surprisingly very pleasing. Although, definitely weird.

This coffee makes for a great breakfast coffee or better yet, an after dinner coffee. Actually, I found this coffee to be great any time of the day.

    I’d give this a 4.5 out of 5 cups.

Brazil Bob-O-Link will run you $11.95 for a 12oz bag. Go grab yourself some of this delicious coffee.
