    Notes:
Sweet aroma with hints of fruit and spice. Each sip greets you with a dominating sweetness. As the coffee starts to cool it opens up and lets in some light with a crisp acidity, juicy figs and cocoa in the finish.

The Matamba is a great exemplar of a balanced and brilliant huila coffee showcasing a core of sweetness, stone fruits, and cocoa while revealing different facets in every brew method. ~ Tonx Coffee

    Verdict:
Colombia Matambo Huila is very sweet, but doesn’t go overboard. The sweetness is balanced and carries other notes such as a crisp acidity, cocoa, and figs to help bring out all the good that this coffee has to offer.

A simple coffee that does well over a variety of brewing methods which is a rare thing. You don’t always find a coffee that can do this, but if you do, hold on tight to it. Treat the coffee like it should be treated, as gold.

    Score:
    90/100pts
