The CoffeeBeans: Ethiopia Sidamo Organic
Roaster: Doma CoffeeEquipment/Brewing Method
Brew Method: AeroPress w/ Able Disk
Grinder/Grind Size: Baratza Virtuoso Preciso – Dial 24
Bean/Water Ratio: 19/230g 1min steep / 45sec pressNotes:
Aroma carries a sweet luscious blueberry note along with a heavy chocolate play, and a hint of strawberry. Each sip is insane. This coffee reminds me of blueberry syrup that’s so sweet it’s almost sickening. The blueberry note is intense and really makes you wonder if a flavoring was added because this is just too good to be true. Underneath the sweet blueberry note is where you can find a slight acidity play and hints of candied strawberries. Each sip rounds off with a heavy chocolate note which lingers around for awhile.
This full natural Ethiopia is loaded with ripe fruit, blueberry, black currant and strawberry. Very sweet, clean, mellow acidity and a smooth body. ~ Doma Coffee
Verdict:
From the moment you open the bag to the time you grind, brew, and enjoy, you are greeted with mass amounts of blueberry sweetness. This coffee is not too good to be true. I’ve been blown away by quite a few Ethiopian coffees since starting this adventure, but never have I had one like this.I hope I don’t need to give you a reason to try this coffee, but I will anyways. If you are a blueberry fan you need to get on this coffee. This is a beautiful breakfast, lunch, and after dinner kind of coffee. Forget the food, just drink this instead!
