Grinder/Grind Size: Baratza Virtuoso Preciso – Dial 24 (medium+ grind)

Blueberries, melon, honey, and watermelon fill my nose with all kinds of sweetness. Each sip has a slight tart play upfront, but soon moves over to sweet blueberries and melon. Another sip greets you with watermelon and blackberries, but in the end the coffee finishes with a lingering honey and chocolate mix. The coffee is sweet, yet playful all the way through.
Strawberry, Blackberry, Guava ~ Kuma Coffee
Verdict:
This coffee is laid back, but also has a playful side. Its not complex, but definitely does not lack flavor either. It reminds me almost exactly of Bali Natural Kintamani that I just had recently from One Village Coffee which I think is why I like it so much.Overall, I’m very impressed with this coffee. It has been quite awhile since trying anything from Kuma Coffee, but I have to say that Mark Barany, owner and roastmaster of Kuma Coffee has definitely grown with his coffee roasting and I’m excited to try more of his coffee in the future.
