San Pedro La Laguna From Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee Review

  • I was pleased with the first coffee I had from Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee, Lo Mejor De Monserrate, so when I heard of another limited coffee she was offering I had to grab some. (I am a sucker for anything limited.)

This coffee, San Pedro La Laguna, is a Guatemalan coffee, and is said to have notes of

dried dark fruit flavors, sweet acidity and an undeniable caramel silkiness.

There’s a dried fruit note that is undeniable, followed by a sweetness that fills up the room creating a more than pleasing aroma.

In the first sip, there is the dried fruit note which seems to dominate the coffee, but there’s a sweetness that lies in the background creating a sweet, but fruity cup of coffee. There’s a kind of silky feeling in my mouth with each sip that’s adding to the overall greatness of this coffee.

The aftertaste is very clean with a sugary sweetness that lingers on my tongue causing me to crave more.

Overall, the coffee is smooth with the perfect balance of sweetness, and fruitiness and has definitely exceeded my expectations.

    I’m giving this a 4 out of 5 cups.

Hurry and grab yourself some of this. It’s a limited coffee, and is only running for $11.95.
