Starbucks 3 Region Blend Review

  • When a company like Starbucks comes out with a blended coffee containing beans from three major coffee growing regions it becomes a must that I try it.

This 3 Region Blend features beans from Latin America, Africa, & Asia.

Awaken your senses with the citrus and floral notes of Tanzanian coffees. Enjoy the rich cocoa taste and gentle spices of Guatemalan coffees. Let the earthy tones of the Papua New Guinea beans put you at ease.

The first thing I notice in the coffee is that I feel it’s more of a medium roast. They say it has a bold intensity, but I do not agree.

The coffee pops out at me more than most of the Starbucks coffees I’ve tried. I do get a citrus play that becomes more pronounced as the coffee cools, along with a very clean mouth-feel.

There is some gentle spices going on in the coffee like they described on their website.

For me, this is more of a mellow coffee, but it does have some very pleasing flavors and an overall good body to the coffee. They certainly picked 3 great regions to mix together to make a very good coffee.

Another thing I noticed was a slight darkness or smokiness on my tongue that seems to linger around a little.

Overall, I am giving this coffee a 3.75 out of 5 cups.

You can grab yourself a pound of this for $11.95 while it lasts. This is a promotional coffee that will be around for a limited time so hurry and try this.

I think that many people would call this a medium coffee. Or maybe it’s just a really big medium coffee! LOL. In any event, it’s a good one, and worth a try. I need to have it iced too – Haven’t done that yet but I will. I enjoyed your review.

Having it as an iced coffee could be really good. I will try that too. Also, I am glad you liked the review.
