Sulawesi ‘Port Icewik’ From CoffeeAM Review

  • This coffee from CoffeeAM is one interesting coffee that I have found myself very intrigued by. Sulawesi ‘Port Icewik’ is

a full-bodied coffee with a cedar pine essence and cinnamon undertones. Low acidity and a long spicy finish give this exotic complex blend an original flavor.

You haven’t had coffee until you’ve had Sulawesi Port Icewik. That’s a pretty bold statement, but we stand behind it! This coffee is rare in every sense of the word and is one of those that you must take advantage of when, and if, you see it.

Grown in the most remote coffee growing regions on the planet, just getting to this coffee plot in the jungle takes at least 4 days from the nearest city! Motorcycle, horseback, and finally trekking through the deep jungle forest will lead you to coffee trees that are the true essence of nature. Read More…

From a very very mild sweetness with a fruity note coming at me, the aroma may not seem to shine that much, but the spicy note that hits you in every sip with a cedar pine note following behind really does. I get a pleasing earthiness to the coffee that really compliments the other notes in the coffee.

At first I thought the coffee was just okay, but when the coffee cooled down a bit it’s true colors came out. This is an all around enjoyable coffee with a more mellowness to it.

    I’d give this a 3.5 out of 5 cups.

You can grab a 1lb bag of this for $15.95
