Time Bandit Captain’s Blend From Java Dawg Coffee




  • Java Dawg has a new coffee for sale. It’s called Time Bandit Captain’s Blend. The name Time Bandit may sound familiar from Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch. Java Dawg worked with the guys from Time Bandit to create a special blend for them.

    The blend consists of….Well, I don’t know that one. That’s a secret that the Big Dawg himself isn’t letting loose.

    Well, I do know for sure that this is one good coffee that you need to get your paws on.

    While brewing, I was smelling this dark bold presence that was very pleasing. I was expecting that to be the same in each sip, but the taste was a different experience.

    The aroma has an earthiness to it. I get a little bit of a sweetness coming at me as well.

    The taste is a kick in the face goodness. You are hit with a darker note that’s very bold, and then a sweetness right after.

    There’s a pleasing acidity that’s coming at me as the coffee cools down. I’m getting a bit of a fruity note too. It’s a very mellow fruitiness. There’s also a bit of a nuttiness coming at me now.

    This coffee has many layers to it. When you think you’ve tasted all of what it has to offer, you are surprised with something new.

    I’m giving this a 4.5 out of 5 cups.
