Western Liberation House Blend 2 From Social Coffee & Tea Co Review

  • I was lucky enough to try some coffee from Social Coffee & Tea Co through a contest that was hosted by CoffeeNate that I won.

This coffee that I am trying is called Western Liberation House Blend 2. I was very excited to dive into this coffee. The description caught my attention and I was glued to the French Press like a kid glued to the T.V.

This blend contains beans from the Ethiopia, El Salvador and Sumatra regions.

“A notably fruity blend broadcasting honey, molasses, chocolate, nuttiness and dried fruit, but in a smooth, balanced, berry-buttery kind of way.”

There’s a dried fruit sweetness that jumps into my nose along with a honey note that is very pleasing.

The taste is something wonderful. The dried fruit and honey notes carry through your nostrils to your taste buds. The nuttiness comes right up behind you, and sticks around for a moment, creating a balanced and overall smooth cup of coffee.

An Ethiopian coffee alone is something great. Social Coffee & Tea Co was able to take a great coffee and mix it with two other coffee regions creating a balanced, but smooth and flavorful cup of coffee.

    I’d give this a 3.75 out of 5 cups

You can grab yourself a 12oz bag for $13 in CAD or about $12.36 in US.
