XXX From Rocketfuel Coffee Review

  • This is probably one of my favorite reviews so far. Today I am reviewing coffee from Lisa Rotenberg’s company Rocketfuel Coffee. When I got into ordering coffee she was the very first person I ordered coffee online from. What caught my eye was her Rocketfuel XXX Blend of Hawaiian Kona, Jamaican Blue Mountain, and Sumatra Bird Friendly.

For a limited time offer I was able to get a half pound bag for .99 w/ shipping. Considering a half pound bag is $12.00, it was a great deal I couldn’t pass up.

What I didn’t know is that I would quickly learn after drinking her coffee I was instantly hooked. If you have ever been to her website you’ll notice it’s all rare coffees of various prices. Her coffee is a little more on the expensive side because they are rare coffee’s, but that should not turn you away from trying her coffee.

Now I am reviewing the new Rocketfuel XXX Bold w/ Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. This is one great coffee. I am not a fan of darker roast coffees, but this one surprised me. The label says it all. BOLD. Looking for a wake up call? This is perfect for you. Other than this coffee sticking you clean to the ceiling the taste is great.

This coffee is bold, but it has a very balanced flavor. It’s smooth tasting, with a bit of sweetness. I do taste a bit of nuttiness to it, but all in all this is one great cup of coffee.

I would give this coffee 4 out of 5 cups. This coffee really is so good that you drink more than one cup. I am on my 3rd cup so far. Would be more If I hadn’t been away from my french press.
